Mike Leahy has over 40 years of sales and marketing experience that has included selling business-to-business, retail and door-to-door. He has sold innovative equipment and was in on the introduction of photocopiers and fax, mobile phones and landline phone systems.
He has been successfully responsible for selling into major accounts such as Marks & Spencer, BBC, the Grand Metropolitan Group, most Oil Companies, Local Authorities and Central Government Agencies.
Mike Leahy has managed both small and large Sales Forces and been National Dealer Manager for several Companies including Konica Fax: so that he has experienced sales and marketing throughout the UK.
He was responsible for sales training and has trained hundreds of sales people in both groups and on a one-to-one basis. He believes that the lack of major Sales Organisations with Sales Academies has seen a dramatic reduction in sales skills. He now offers similar courses to those of 20 years ago and is seeing students achieve a high success rate.
With regard to marketing Mike Leahy has developed a profiling audit that will show Business Owners ways that they can leverage existing assets to increase profits without increasing their spend. And he encourages his clients to write their own simple Marketing Plan which he helps them drive forward with enthusiastic and positive Action.
